global lens film series
Presented by Indie Memphis and the Brooks Museum of Art, the 2010 Global Lens Film Series is made possible through the support of the First Tennessee Foundation and is sponsored by the Memphis Flyer and the Global Film Initiative. The series features ten award-winning narrative feature films from around the world, which will screen at The Brooks from May 13 - July 29. A fixture of the annual Indie Memphis Film Festival since 2007, the new summer schedule will allow the series to expand its audience and give more people the opportunity to experience some -- or all -- of the films in the program. memphis in may
For four years running, Indie Memphis has partnered with Memphis in May to bring World Cinema to Memphis as part of annual Memphis in May international celebrations. 2010's "Salute to Tunisia" showcased Tunisian native Zran Mohamed's award-winning documentary BEING HERE at the Brooks Museum of Art. li'l film fest
Indie Memphis collaborates with Live from Memphis on their quarterly themed filmmaking challenge, LI'L FILM FEST, presented in partnership with the Memphis Tourism Foundation. The Grand Jury Award features cash prizes presented by The Memphis & Shelby County Film & Television Commission, with cash from the door making up the Audience Choice Award winner's prize -- and each receives a customized, thematic trophy and a guaranteed slot at the annual Indie Memphis Film Festival! music video showcase
Live from Memphis' MUSIC VIDEO SHOWCASE, launched in 2005, gives Memphis filmmakers and musicians a chance to rock the big screen at the annual Indie Memphis Film Festival which attracts more than 7,200 audience members each year. For 2009, cash awards were presented for both "Best Music Video" and "Audience Choice" award-winners. Stay tuned for details on the 2010 showcase!.

southern teen filmmaking showcase
The Indie Memphis SOUTHERN TEEN FILMMAKING SHOWCASE, which screens as part of the annual Indie Memphis Film Festival in October, is open to teen filmmakers (18 and under) who live in the Southern United States. There is no entry fee to submit, but films must be under 20 minutes in length. Regular Deadline: Friday, August 13; Extended Deadline: Friday, August 20. Click here to download a 2010 Entry Form.

micro cinema club
Free and open to the public, the Indie Memphis MICRO CINEMA CLUB is a monthly screening series which for five years has brought short films from around the world to Memphis.
