Southern Teen Filmmaking Showcase
The Indie Memphis SOUTHERN TEEN FILMMAKING SHOWCASE is open to teen filmmakers, 18 and under, who live in the Southern United States. There is no entry fee to submit, but films must be under 15 minutes in length.
The 2008 program included Southern Fried Saturdays by Rachel Braim, Hannah McGough and Whitney Hembrey; The Power of a Small Community by Matthew McMurry, Robert Paul, Sol Allard, Andrew McMurry, Daniel Brantley and Ellae Paul; Return to Sender by Emma Bailin and Sarah Bailin; Sweet Seduction by Gabrielle Lui; and the Opera Memphis 2008 Music Videos: Midnight Thoughts from Overton High, Truer Words from White Station High, Fate: My Destiny, My Choice from KIPP Diamond Academy, and Shine from Cypress Middle School.
