Indie Memphis alumni win at the Spirit Awards. Congratulations to Lynn Shelton, Margaret Brown and Heather Rea!

Congratulations to Indie Memphis 2008 alumni Lynn Shelton, Margaret Brown and Heather Rea for winning big at Film Independent's 2009 Spirit Awards, held Saturday afternoon in Santa Monica!



Lynn Shelton (writer/director of MY EFFORTLESS BRILLIANCE; Music Video Showcase juror) won the Acura Someone to Watch Award.



Margaret Brown (director of THE ORDER OF MYTHS) took home the Lacoste Truer Than Fiction Award.



Heather Rea (producer of IBID) was honored with the Piaget Producers Award for producing FROZEN RIVER by Memphis native Courtney Hunt.
